ABOUT CAKES BY CLIFF
Famous for his effervescent cake designs, Cliff has nailed the art of creating show stopping cake designs using simple techniques which he has taught around the world.
The classes will focus on the design and decoration of your own cakes using buttercream and various edible decoration. Never worked with buttercream or new to cake decorating? Don't fear! Cliff will guide you through ALL elements of cake design, teaching you his well-honed processes, tools and techniques needed to create a show stopping cake. As well as guiding you through design you'll learn the essential contemporary cake design techniques for covering your cake with buttercream to achieve a flawless finish and beautiful sharp and curved edges.
Cliff will be showing you:
How to make quick and easy Swiss Meringue Buttercream in three steps using three
Fill and layer a two tiered cake
How to create a smooth buttercream finish with sharp using two different methods.
How to stack a cake with cake dowels.
Learn how to temper dark coverture chocolate
Learn how to prepare your chocolate decorations with edible gold luster dust
How to apply your gold chocolate sails onto a two tiered cake.

Cancellations / Changes of your Class Booking
KOI Dessert Kitchen operate a no refund policy and as such we are unable to refund any class bookings where you decide to cancel a class booking 5 days or less prior to commencing your class, as a result of any change in personal circumstances, including medical grounds. No refunds will be given if you have simply changed your mind. If you cancel a class booking more than 5 days prior to commencing your class, this will result in a Credit Note in a Gift Card format (12 months expiry) where you can use it to purchase our desserts.
