The journey of KOI commenced long before Reynold Poernomo was inducted into Masterchef’s dessert hall of fame. It’s humble beginning in fact, started in the depths of a tiny garage in 2012, where his Mother, Ike Malada, started operations to provide for their family with only $300.

KOI is a testament to the hard work and dedication Ike demonstrated after migrating here from Indonesia. KOI, which stands for Kids of Ike, is now operated by brothers Ronald, Arnold and Reynold Poernomo, who have taken their Mother’s dream to soaring heights and have captivated thousands of people in just two years.

Now, KOI is seen as the go-to destination for faultless date-nights and impeccable cuisinse, with creativity and innovation placed at the heart of everything it does.
